Reliance Jio has finally announced its much-awaited FTTH services,
the Jio GigaFiber. The GigaFiber is Reliance Jio’s own FTTH Home
broadband solution which will offer internet speeds upto 1 Gbps. The Jio
GigaFiber and hhJio GigaTV will be available in 1,100 cities across
India starting from August 15.
New users who will subscribe to Jio GigaFiber will also get access to a router and Jio GigaTV.
The Jio GigaFiber set-top box can be used to make HD voice and video
calls to other Giga TV devices or mobile users across the country.

Currently, India ranks on the 134th position globally in terms of fixed-line broadband connectivity.
