Bharti Airtel Subscribers Can Get Up to 32GB Extra Data on Select Prepaid Plans: Check How

Bharti Airtel has been competing with other telecom operators based on its extensive additional benefits. The telecom operator is probably the one to ship the most attractive benefits with its prepaid plans as compared to any other telecom operators. We know that the telcos have been shipping additional data as a way to lure subscribers. We have already seen BSNL offer 2.2GB additional data. Airtel, on similar lines, is also providing 400MB extra daily data to its subscribers on select prepaid plans. Now, in a new move that is sure to be appreciated by the subscribers, Airtel has extended the extra data benefit to some of its other plans as well.

Airtel Extra Data Benefits on Rs 509 and More Plans

To recall, the additional data offer by Airtel was first introduced for the Rs 399, Rs 448 and Rs 499 prepaid plan. However, there is a catch to this offer, and it won’t be available to all the subscribers of the above-given plan. Now, Airtel has made a slight change to its prepaid plans, and it is shipping additional data benefits on other plans like Rs 558 prepaid plan, and Rs 509 prepaid plan as well. While the Rs 558 and Rs 509 prepaid plan gets 400MB additional data per day, the Rs 499 prepaid plan gets 250MB additional data in a day.

The Airtel offer with extra daily data is pretty simple. For example, you subscribe to the Rs 558 prepaid plan. Under normal circumstances, you would get 3GB data per day with 82 days validity, and along with this, you would get other benefits like Wynk Music, Norton Antivirus, and the 4G device cashback benefit. However, if you were to recharge your Airtel prepaid number through the Airtel Thanks app, then you would get the additional data benefit of 32GB. The subscribers will get total 32GB additional data in the subscription period, which amounts to 400MB of extra data per day.

Airtel Extra Data Benefit on Rs 499 Prepaid Plan

The Rs 499 prepaid plan by Airtel will differ a bit in this regard as it comes with 250MB extra daily data benefit. The Rs 499 prepaid plan normally ships 2GB data per day for 82 days along with other additional benefits. Combined with this offer, wherein you recharge from the Airtel Thanks app, the subscribers will enjoy 20GB additional data over the subscription period or 250MB extra data in a day.

It is worth noting that as part of Airtel Thanks, additional daily data is not the only benefit that subscribers will enjoy on their subscription. Airtel Thanks also allows the subscribers to get benefits like Wynk Music, a premium subscription to Airtel TV,access to content from ZEE5, HOOQ, Eros Now, ALT Balaji, Norton security, Device cashback worth Rs 2,000 on purchase of a new 4G phone and more. Airtel Thanks customers receive benefits based on the tier that they are in from the Silver, Gold or Platinum category.

Airtel ने पिछले दिनों अपने कई प्रीपेड प्लान्स या तो लॉन्च किए हैं या फिर प्लान में बदलाव किया है। Reliance Jio से मिल रही चुनौती के बीच कंपनी ने पिछले दिनों Rs 175 का प्लान लॉन्च किया है। इस डाटा एड-ऑन पैक में यूजर्स को 6GB डाटा का लाभ मिलता है जिसमें यूजर्स को 28 दिनों की वैलिडिटी मिलती है। इसके अलावा इसमें यूजर्स को SMS का भी लाभ मिलता है। इस प्लान के अलावा Airtel के 4 और प्लान हैं जिसमें यूजर्स को डाटा एड-ऑन का लाभ मिलता है। Airtel के Rs 28, Rs 48, Rs 92, Rs 98 और Rs 175 के प्लान्स में यूजर्स को डाटा एड-ऑन का लाभ मिलता है। आइए, जानते हैं इन प्लान्स के बारे में

Rs 28 वाले प्लान की बात करें तो इसमें यूजर्स को 500MB डाटा का लाभ मिलता है। इस प्लान की वैलिडिटी 28 दिनों की है। ये इन प्लान्स में से सबसे सस्ता प्लान है। इस प्लान के अलावा एक और Rs 48 का प्लान है जिसमें यूजर्स को 3GB अतिरिक्त डाटा का लाभ मिलता है। ये प्लान भी कंपनी का एड-ऑन पैक है जिसमें यूजर्स को 28 दिनों की वैलिडिटी मिलती है। Rs 98 और Rs 175, दोनों ही प्लान्स में यूजर्स को 6GB डाटा का लाभ मिलता है जिसमें यूजर्स को 28 दिनों की वैलिडिटी मिलती है। Airtel के ये एड-ऑन प्लान्स Jio के स्मार्ट वाइट्स पैक्स की चुनौती में पेश किए गए हैं।

Jio के Rs 99 वाले स्मार्ट बाइट्स वाले प्लान की बात करें तो इसमें यूजर्स को 5GB डाटा पूरी वैलिडिटी के लिए मिलती है। Jio की तरह ही Airtel ने भी स्मार्ट बाइट्स पैक यूजर्स के लिए पेश किए हैं। Airtel के 15GB वाले अतिरिक्त डाटा प्लान के लिए यूजर्स को Rs 199 का रीचार्ज कराना होता है। वहीं, Rs 299 के प्लान में यूजर्स को 25GB डाटा ऑफर किया जा रहा है। इसके अलावा Rs 499 के प्लान में यूजर्स को 50GB डाटा, जबकि Rs 799 के प्लान में यूजर्स को 90GB डाटा का लाभ मिलता है। Rs 1,499 के प्लान में यूजर्स को 200GB का एड-ऑन डाटा का लाभ मिलता है।

जियो से मुकाबले के लिए डिश टीवी से मर्जर की तैयारी में एयरटेल डिजिटल टीवी

सुनील भारती मित्तल ने सिर्फ टेलीकॉम ही नहीं, बल्कि टीवी डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन में भी मुकेश अंबानी की रिलायंस जियो को चुनौती देने का फैसला किया है। जियो ने हाल ही में देश के दो सबसे बड़े केबल ऑपरेटर्स- हैथवे केबल एंड डेटाकॉम और डेन नेटवर्क्स को खरीदा है। इसे देखते हुए अब मित्तल ने एयरटेल डिजिटल टीवी के अंदर आने वाले अपने डीटीएच बिजनेस को डिश टीवी के साथ मर्ज करने के लिए बातचीत शुरू की है। मामले से वाकिफ एक शख्स ने बताया कि बातचीत अभी शुरुआती चरण में हैं। उन्होंने बताया, 'इनकी योजना दोनों कंपनियों के ऑपरेशन को मिलाना और रिलायंस जियो को कड़ी चुनौती देना है। एयरटेल डिजिटल टीवी और डिश टीवी मर्जर के बाद एक बहुत बड़ी कंपनी होगी।'

अगर मित्तल सफल होते हैं तो मर्जर के बाद बनने वाली नई कंपनी दुनिया की सबसे बड़ी टीवी डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन कंपनी होगी। इसके पास 3.8 करोड़ सब्सक्राइबर्स और देश के डीटीएच मार्केट का 61 पर्सेंट शेयर होगा। ईटी के सवालों को जवाब देते हुए एयरटेल के एक प्रवक्ता ने कहा, 'हम पॉलिसी के तहत मार्केट की अटकलों पर टिप्पणी नहीं करते।' वहीं डिश टीवी के प्रवक्ता ने भी कहा कि 'कंपनी मार्केट में चल रही अटकलों के बारे में कोई टिप्पणी नहीं करती।'

वीडियोकॉन डी2एच के साथ मर्ज हो चुका डिश टीवी
डिश टीवी ने बीते साल मार्च में वीडियोकॉन डी2एच के मर्जर को पूरा किया था और देश के डीटीएच मार्केट में मर्जर करने वाली पहली कंपनी बनी थी। फिलहाल इस मार्केट में कुल 6 डीटीएच ऑपरेटर्स हैं, जिनमें 6 पेमेंट आधारित सर्विस और एक फ्री सर्विस है।

टाटा स्काई के साथ नहीं हो पाया समझौता
इससे पहले एयरटेल ने अपने डीटीएच बिजनेस को टाटा स्काई को बेचने की बहुत कोशिशें की थीं, लेकिन दोनों पक्ष किसी समझौते तक नहीं पहुंच सके। इसके बाद 2017 में एयरटेल ने एयरटेल डिजिटल टीवी की होल्डिंग कंपनी, भारती टेलीमीडिया में अपनी 20 पर्सेंट हिस्सेदारी को प्राइवेट इक्विटी में वॉरबर्ग पिंकस को 35 करोड़ डॉलर (करीब 2,258 करोड़ डॉलर) में बेच दी थी। इस समझौते में एयरटेल के डीटीएच बिजनेस की वैल्यू 11,300 करोड़ रुपये लगाई गई थी।

15 मार्च को डिश टीवी का मार्केट कैपिटलाइजेशन 7,263.75 करोड़ रुपये था। यह बीते साल मर्जर के समय नई कंपनी की लगाई गई अनुमानित वैल्यू 17,000 करोड़ रुपये से काफी कम है। टाटा स्काई के वैल्यूएशन के 11,000-12,000 करोड़ रुपये होने का अनुमान है।

सितंबर 2018 में जारी ट्राई की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक डीटीएच मार्केट में 31 पर्सेंट हिस्सेदारी के साथ डिश टीवी (वीडियोकॉन डी2एच के साथ) सबसे आगे है। इसके बाद 27 पर्सेंट हिस्सेदारी के साथ टाटा स्काई और 24 पर्सेंट हिस्सेदारी एयरटेल डिजिटल टीवी के पास है। 31 दिसंबर 2018 को खत्म हुई तिमाही में डिश टीवी के पास 2.36 करोड़ सब्सक्राइबर्स थे और इसे 1,517.4 करोड़ रुपये की आमदनी हुई थी, जिसमें 517.6 करोड़ रुपये का ऑपरेटिंग मार्जिन था।

Airtel Now Offers 90GB Data In Rs 649 Postpaid Plan, Bharti Airtel Limited is an Indian global telecommunications services company based in New Delhi, Today Bharti Airtel revises their Rs 649 postpaid plan, Now offers 90GB Data for one month, up from the earlier 50GB of Data benefit. Airtel didn’t revised other plan in postpaid plans category such as Rs 399, Rs 499, Rs 799, Rs 1199.
Altogether, Airtel Rs 649 plan now offers 90GB of data with data rollover option, unlimited voice calls even on roaming, 100 SMS per day, one free family child connection, free Airtel TV, Wynk Music and Airtel Secure subscriptions and one-year of free Amazon Prime membership.

Other than Data benefit, Airtel, didn’t changed any other benefits in this plan including free addon connections. The benefit with Airtel Rs 649 plan or more is that they itself comes with child connections, meaning that a user can add one or more Airtel postpaid connection to their numbers and share both the benefits. Also few days back Airtel charge Rs 99 extra from their customers for adding a new postpaid connections to the family.
If Airtel customer recharged with this plan then additional or remaining data will automatically get  added in their account. Airtel might revise Rs 399 and Rs 499 postpaid plan as they still offers 20GB and 40GB data which is very low if compared with 90GB data. Airtel revised Rs 649 postpaid plan for the reason that Vodafone revised their Rs 399 and Rs 499 Vodafone RED Postpaid plans. Also Vodafone introduced Rs 299 RED postpaid plan.
Earlier, Bharti Airtel Lowers data benefit in two prepaid plans Airtel’s Rs 149 plan is now offering 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calls without any FUP limit and 100 SMS per day for a period of 28 days, while the Rs 399 plan is giving the normal 1.4GB data per day, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 84 days or for 70 days.
